SIKO Prospex Solar 'Arnie' Hybrid Diver's 40th Anniversary Men's SNJ033P1
710,00€
This model is a modern version of the Seiko "Hybrid diver's", introduced in 1982 and was the first model to combine analogue and digital technology. Known as "Arnie", after the actor who wore it in the movie "Commando", and also as "Tuna", after its case shape, due to its larger diameter and imposing shape, the watch celebrates the 40th anniversary of the creation of the first hybrid diver's model with alarm chronograph. The original model has proven its reliability in harsh conditions as it was used in Japan's Antarctic expedition in 1984 and in the ascent of Mount Everest by Japan, China and Nepal in 1988. The new H855 movement has been upgraded to offer improved readability on dives, with a larger display at 6 o'clock. It also offers dive logging and depth and temperature measurement functions.
