From the Alpinist collection, first released in 1959, these watches were designed for Japanese mountaineers "Yama-otoko" to be reliable in dangerous terrain.

The popular SPB121 Alpinist model is the basis for the design of this exclusive European version, with colours inspired by the night sky over the mountains. The deep blue dial features a subtle, soft vertical striped pattern and is complemented by gold hour and minute hands in "cathedral style". Paired with a deep blue calfskin leather strap, this watch comes with an additional navy blue nylon strap in a special packaging.

Through the transparent back of the case, you can see the company's 6R35 movement, with an accuracy of -15/+25 seconds per day and a power reserve of 70 hours. The limited edition number is engraved on the back of the case.
